As the holiday season comes upon us we welcome the happiness and pure joy that comes from celebrating this fantastic time of year. Here in Aspen, Colorado, the streets, buildings and homes are beautifully decorated and with the lights flickering off the snow it is hard to feel anything but cheerfulness.

I Hate My Job

Unfortunately, there are some other emotions that bubble to the surface at this time of year. It is amazing how many are associated with work and money, or the lack thereof. I speak to so many people that truly hate what they do for a living. Some are bored, others over worked, but most just seem to be dissatisfied with what they are doing and the money they make to do it.

What’s Your Story?

I remember talking with a young woman who was incredibly brilliant, talented and working over 50 hours a week to take care of her family. It was amazing the dedication she had to her children and her employer, but she knew she could do more. I hear stories like this every day. “If I could only…” or “If only I had a chance to…” Sadly many people I talk with know if they try they can change their lives, but don’t have the courage or perseverance to step out and do it.

I understand this post may sound like a commercial, but it is more truth than marketing. I’ve been fortunate enough to see people completely change their lives and their families by being brave enough to try something new and discover a career they love. Some wanted the freedom to set their schedule and get paid more than minimum wage. Some desired a profession that could help people and allow them to be their own boss. All discovered that the possibilities are endless.

The Best Gift Ever

Our next Certified Massage Therapist program begins January 4th and runs until August 12th, 2016.  In a little under eight months you or someone you love, will get all the training needed to start a new career, and have the opportunity to become part of one of the fastest growing health services in the country. In addition, this session will run nightly Monday-Thursday, 5:30 – 9:30 pm, so you are able to work during the day, take care of kids, or just enjoy the Aspen days.
