No More Sitting and Just Listening All Day!
Take a minute and think back to the glory days of high school. Remember when you would sit in that uncomfortable chair, watching your teacher lecture all the while daydreaming about someplace you would rather be. Yes, and that place was anyplace other than that classroom!Learn Massage, Don't Watch Massage
From the beginning our goal was to provide a learning environment which offered the highest quality instruction with the opportunity for our students to learn by doing in addition to normal classroom instruction. We want our students to be actively engaged in the learning process, not sitting and struggling to stay awake.Kinesthetic Learning Creates Great Massage Therapists
Kinesthetic Learning, also called Tactile Learning, is a process where the student is taught by doing the activity rather than sitting in a classroom and having to listen to someone talk about the subject. Massage therapy is a hands-on profession where the skill of touch is coupled with detailed knowledge of anatomy and therapeutic techniques. Not only are our students taught the details of the human body, but they are encouraged to actively participate and utilize hands-on training to learn the concepts more fully. In addition, our students get 125 hours of practical massage therapy practice with actual clientele. Whether we are helping out at a local sporting event or giving massages at the gym, our therapist students leave our program with more than book knowledge but real life experience.
